Introduction to Engaging with Industry Handbook (Faculty of Biological Sciences; July 2022) 

The aim of this handbook is to provide you with an introductory overview to, working, engaging and collaborating with industry and identifying opportunities to use your research for societal or economic benefit. Ultimately, we wish to improve impact literacy and understanding across the Faculty and foster a deeper understanding of the needs, opportunities and challenges of working with business and industry. This handbook will also enable you to gain understanding of what it means for you as an academic to engage with industry, and how this can be integrated with your longer term research plans, career ambitions and view of the future.
