Horizon Europe opportunities for researchers – UKRO annual visit
- Date
- Thursday 29 February 2024, 09:30-15:00
- Location
- Nexus building, lecture theatre
- Target audience
- All researchers and staff supporting research at the University of Leeds
We invite you to a day of informative sessions to learn about funding and career development opportunities through Horizon Europe, the EU’s main research funding programme. The sessions are open to all researchers and staff supporting research at the University of Leeds.
Now that the UK is (finally!) associated to Horizon Europe, researchers at UK institutions can participate in Horizon Europe on the same terms as EU Member States. This means we can be both coordinator and partner in Horizon Europe applications and receive funding from the EU.
Our UK Research Office (UKRO) representative, Anne Nierobisch, will be visiting Leeds on Thursday 29th February to deliver a range of talks. This will cover an overview of Horizon Europe, how to get involved in collaborative opportunities, leveraging your career through Horizon Europe and areas to consider to be successful in applications.
You are welcome to book onto the whole day, or to book onto specific sessions that interest you.
The recording and slides for each session are now available via the links below (available for University of Leeds staff only).
