Funding for public engagement
Effective budgeting for public engagement ensures the success of your activity. Consult with the Public Engagement team during your funding application process to maximise your impact. Don’t underestimate funding needs; accurate budgeting is crucial for achieving your intended outcomes.
Research Development Fund
It is a benefit to you and your research when members of the public are involved in the development of research grant applications. Many research funding streams now require or look favourably to applications with this included.
The University recognises that there are financial implications to this. The Research Development Fund (RDF) gives a financial grant for researchers to deliver research development activities with the public.
Applications to the RDF are rolling throughout the year.
